SGO Tax Credit

A New Opportunity to Fund Student Success

Beginning in 2027, federal law creates a potential tax-credit pathway for individual taxpayers who contribute cash to qualified Scholarship Granting Organizations approved through participating states. Texas has opted into the program for 2027. TRTF is preparing mission-aligned scholarship and tutoring pathways that may help eligible Texas students access educational support, including tutoring.
